Kocher Forceps are for clamping arteries and obstructing blood flow. Their serrated jaws afford a very secure grip and the 1 x 2 teeth make the instrument suitable for holding delicate tissue and skin. The forceps are also referred to as Rochester-Oschner Forceps however this particular variation is lighter.
